Tour Plan

This 10-day Moroccan tour begins in Casablanca before exploring Fes's historic medina, then continues to Roman ruins at Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes. The journey progresses through the Middle Atlas mountains to the Sahara desert for camel trekking and a night in a Berber camp, followed by visits to Todra Gorge and Ait Ben Haddou kasbah before crossing the High Atlas to discover Marrakech's vibrant markets and landmarks, concluding with return to Casablanca.

Day 1: Casablanca – Fes

Pick up at the airport in Casablanca the economic capital of Morocco. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of largest mosques in the Islamic world and then continue the royal visit was the capital Rabat and from Fes cultural capital of the country. Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Fes – Fes

One day to discover the cultural capital of Morocco. You will be able to visit several monuments: Medersas (Koranic schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. souks, Fes El-Jadid, Karaouine Mosque (the first university in the world).

Day 3: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes

Road to the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis and the holy city visit Moulay Idriss, A 27 Km from the ruins visit Meknes, a city that reached its peak thanks to Sultan Moulay Ismail. In this city we will visit Baba Mansour Gate and Lhadim Square. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Meknes – Merzouga

Departure to Merzouga via Ifrane (also known as the Switzerland of Morocco), the forest of Azrou where we will get to enjoy watching the monkeys climbing the cedars. Then continue via the mountains of the Middle Atlas and then continue via the Ziz Valley and its gorges and Errachidia, continue to the town of Erfoud. Arrival in Merzouga, the day is dedicated to enjoy the peace of the desert. Hostel accommodation near the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast starts the grand tour of the dunes, passing through many villages of the desert. We will meet in their desert nomads tent , and discover a new sense of life … In the afternoon take the camels for the night in the middle of the dunes under a nomadic Bedouin tent.

Day 6: Erg Chebbi – Todra Gorges

We get up early to watch the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then mount a camel to go back to the lodge where we will have breakfast. Continue doing the throats via Rissani where we will stop to visit some traditional markets and then continue towards the Todra Gorge. Night in the middle of the Gorges.

Day 7: Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate

Have breakfast, and walk a bit inside the throats before moving to the Dades Valley, the Valley of Roses and the oasis of Skoura. Arrival in Ouarzazate and hotel accommodations.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast and before going to Marrakech, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where he recorded many movies, including Sahara and Gladiator. Then continue to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka. On the side of the mountains you will see Berber villages and farms. Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9: Marrakech – Marrakech

One day to discover charms of Marrakech and its historical monuments: The gardens and Menara basin, the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs and Dar Si Said Museum and the Palace of Bahia and Jamaa El Fna Square with its souks.
