Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Agdz
Agdz
We begin our trip from your Riad in Marrakech. Then, we travel to the southeastern part of Morocco by crossing the High Atlas Mountains. To get to the other side, we take the famous Tizi N’tichka pass. The road has beautiful views of the landscape, perfect for taking amazing panoramic photos. Near the Oued Elmalh River, we visit the village of Ait Ben Haddou. This historic Kasbah is made of tall mud-brick buildings and has been used as a filming location for movies like *Gladiator*, *Lawrence of Arabia*, and *Game of Thrones*. After that, we take a guided tour of the Atlas Movies studio and stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we head to our accommodation in Agdz.

Day 2: Agdez - Zgora - Erg chegaga
After breakfast, we head to Kasbah Tamnougalte, which is the same place where we stayed overnight. It’s the oldest Kasbah in the Draa Valley. Then, we take the old caravan route that runs between the river and the mountains for a short distance. Along the way, we pass by many villages and gardens, giving you a clearer picture of how people live in these fertile oases. Zagora is the biggest town in the area, and we’ll stop there for lunch. Later, we go through Tamgroute, where we’ll make a stop to see the pottery workshops. These potteries are famous for their green glaze, which you might have already noticed in Marrakech. The old Quranic library, with its beautiful handwritten Arabic texts, is definitely worth a visit. In the afternoon, we continue driving south to M’hamid, which is known as the gateway to the desert and marks the end of the paved road. From there, you’ll leave the asphalt behind and drive about 60 km through the desert. The dunes of Erg Chegaga are far from any civilization, deep in the desert where nomadic life is tough and shaped by the unpredictable winds.sandstorms, and sparse rainfall. But the silence and the expanse of the sand are overwhelming, Here you have a camel ride with a guide to the top of the dunes to watch the spectacular desert sunset. You have dinner and spend the night at a luxury camp with a private bathroom, king-sized beds, beautiful Moroccan furnishings, and lamps tastefully arranged to enhance your enjoyment of the silence and beauty of the dunes.

Day 3: Chigaga Dunes – Iriki Lake – Foumzguid – Tazenakht – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we drive through 90 kilometers of desert with changing views. First, we pass the flat, dry salt lake of Iriqui and the Anti Atlas mountains, following the old route of the "Paris Dakar Rally." Next, we reach Foum Zguid, the first village after the desert, where the paved road starts. After lunch, we head to Taznakht, a Berber village known for its handmade carpets and rugs. We arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 4:Ouarzazat - Ait Benhaddou – Telouet – Tichka Pass – Marrakech
After having breakfast, coffee, tea, and some time to relax, we will continue our journey to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This is the most famous kasbah in the Ounila Valley and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has also been used as a filming location for many well-known movies, such as *Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra*, *Lawrence of Arabia*, and *Gladiator*. We will stop here for a visit and have lunch at a local restaurant. Next, we will travel along the old caravan route through the High Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy the stunning natural beauty and rich history of southern Morocco. A highlight of this trip is crossing the High Atlas mountain range and driving over the famous Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, which is the highest mountain pass in all of Africa. Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
